Uwe Neuhaus is a former German footballer and current coach of FC Union Berlin in the 2. Bundesliga. He was born on 26 November 1959 in Hattingen, Germany.
Uwe started out his senior career with SpVgg Erkenschwick in 1982 and went on with Rot-Weiss Essen where he played for four years amassing 80 matches for the team. Neuhaus spent the 1988/89 season at BV 08 Lüttringhausen and in 1989 he joined SG Wattenscheid 09 where he played for six years until his retirement in 1995.
Neuhaus tried himself as a coach of SG Wattenscheid 09 reserve squad still playing for the first team of the club. In 1997, he went on his managerial career taking charge over VfB Hüls. In 1998, Neuhaus was appointed an assistant coach at Borussia Dortmund and in 2004 he began to train the reserve squad of the club. In the 2005/06 season, Uwe Neuhaus found himself as a coach of his former Rot-Weiss Essen and since 2007 he is in charge of FC Union Berlin in the German second tier.
