Viggo Jensen is a retired Danish footballer. He was born in 1947 and graduated from Esbjerg fB, then began his senior career at Esbjerg fB and played for B 1909. In 1973 he moved to Germany and had contracts with FC Bayern Munich and SpVgg Fürth. He returned to Denmark and played for Odense Boldklub, B 1909 and retired as a player in 1980. Jensen was called to the Denmark national team and earned eight caps between 1971 and 1973.
He took over as a manager in 1981 and since then guided many teams: Ullerslev, Svendborg fB, Silkeborg IF, the Denamrk U-21 national team, Malmö FF, Odense Boldklub, Viborg FF, Aarhus Fremad, Esbjerg fB, between 2002 and 2006 he was the head coach of Silkeborg IF for the second time, then he was the manager of Estonia, FC Fyn. Between 2008 and 2010 Jensen was the assistant coach of Odense Boldklub. In 2011 he had a short stay at Vejle Boldklub and in 2012 he took charge of Silkeborg IF.
After the season 2012/2013 Silkeborg was relegated from the top flight and the manager was released from the club.
