Vítor Manuel de Oliveira Lopes Pereira is a Portuguese football manager and currently he is in charge of Al-Ahli.
Pereira was born in 1968 in Espinho, Portugal, and spent his playing career in the regional divisions. When he was 29, he retired as a footballer and took up managerial career, coaching junior teams Padroense and Porto. The 2004/05 season Pereira headed the third-division side A.D. Sanjoanense.
The following season he was responsible for S.C. Espinho for one season and after that he switched to his former Porto’s juniors team.
Since 2008 he headed the second-division side C.D. Santa Clara for two seasons and in 2010 Vítor Pereira became André Villas-Boas’s assistant, coaching Porto, and in a season Pereira replaced him on the managerial position, when the latest one moved to England to guide Chelsea.
He helped Porto to win the 2011/12 Primera Liga title and twice led them to Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira (2011, 2012).
In 2013 the manager was lured to Saudi club Al-Ahli.
