Waldemar Fornalik is a retired Polish football player and a coach.
He spent his entire career in Polish club Ruch Chorzów and won the 1988/89 Ekstraklasa.
Having finished his playing career, Fornalik took over as a manager of Górnik Zabrze, then he coached Amica Wronki, Odra Wodzisław, Polonia Warsaw, GKS Bełchatów II, Widzew Łódź and in 2009 he headed Ruch Chorzów. That team Fornalik led to the third place at 2009–10 Ekstraklasa. The next season his team finished runner-up.
In July 2012 he was appointed the head coach of the Poland national football team but was released after Poland failed to qualify for the World Cup in Brazil.
