Yuri Krasnozhan is a football manager, a retired player. He was born in 1963 and played for Spartak Nalchik and Avtozapchast Baksan. He began to work as a coach at Avtozapchast Baksan and helped the side to obtain professional status and advance to the second tier (First Division). In 2000 Krasnozhan became the assistant coach of Spartak Nalchik, later he took managerial duties and led the team to the Russian Premier League and helped them to reach the quarterfinal of the Russian Cup in 2007/08 and finish sixth in the 2010 Premier League.
In 2011 Krasnozhan guided Lokomotiv Moscow for a short period and in the winter of 2011 he took charge of Anzhi Makhachakala, but shortly after that he left the club. The first half of the 2012/13 season he was the head coach of Kuban Krasnodar and in May 2013 it was announced that Krasnozhan became the tactician of Terek Grozny. However, 14 matches into the new season, Krasnozhan was released from his duties.
In February 2014 Krasnozhan started working with Kazakhstan national team.
