The Dominica national football team represents the Caribbean country in the association football. It is controlled by the Dominica Football Association founded in 1970. The team became the FIFA and CONCACAF member in 1994. It is also a member of the Caribbean Football Union.
The team got the first taste of international action in a 1-0 win over Martinique in 1932. A football dwarf, Dominica did not enter the FIFA World Cup until 1998 and has never qualified to the final stage since then. It has never qualified to the Gold Cup tournament as well. In 2004, the squad suffered their biggest 0-10 tharsh to Mexico and celebrated the biggest 10-0 victory over the British Virgin Islands in October 2010.
Dominica was ranked 156th in the FIFA table in November 2012. It made it 128th at the utmost in November 2010.
