Abramovich wants Everton boss Moyes to take charge of Chelsea

Chelsea interim Rafa Benitez has repeatedly said he wants to be offered the permanent contract at the Stamford Bridge however the Blues owner Roman Abramovich is of a different mind.

Russian billionaire is considering Everton boss David Moyes as an ideal candidate to replace Benitez in summer if they snatch him away from Goodison Park. Currently Moyes’ Everton is on course of finishing in top four after a string of impressive results.

Chelsea have been maddeningly inconsistent lately with the incomprehensible FA Cup 2-2 draw with Brentford summing up their current condition. The Blues fans have voiced their discontent at the recent poor performances and demanded Benitez resignation. However the Spaniard is likely to stay until summer as it is difficult to imagine that Abramovich resolves upon yet another manager sacking.
