Aguero signed a new deal with Man City
Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero put an end to a transfer speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid by putting his paper to a new long-term deal with the club.
The 24-year-old Argentina international has signed a four-year-deal that will keep him at the Etihad stadium up until 2017.
Aguero joined the Citizens from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and helped his side to win Premier League title, by scoring a late winner against QPR that allowed them to outstrip arch rivals Manchester United in 2011-2012 season.
Aguero expressed the delight about extending the contract with club, saying: “I’m very happy at City and I feel very appreciated. It’s been barely two years since I’ve arrived and sometimes I feel like I’ve been here for all my life.
“I have a fantastic relationship with the fans, and that always reminds me of our title and that goal against QPR. I can never forget that moment. Now I am looking forward to next season and pushing hard to win the title again,” he added.
