Ancelotti forces Nene to leave

PSG forward Nene penned a deal with Qatari club al-Gharafa and will leave the French capital in two weeks.

The player claimed he decided to leave PSG, underlining that the move was difficult for him. “Things of that kind only happen once in a lifetime. I don’t really know if people will understand … I only thought about my future and my family” the forward claimed.

Nene with 21 goals led the top-scorer’s pool last season helping the team to secure the second place. Yet in November last year the forward fell out of favor with Carlo Ancelotti and was dropped to the substitute’s bench for more than a month after he argued with the coaching team during the Champions League fixture against Porto.

Al-Gharafa reportedly offered the player a 18-month contract worth 11 million euro.
