Anderlecht’s Mbokani fancies Dynamo Kiev move
Sought-after Anderlecht striker Dieumerci Mbokani revealed he is looking forward to join Dynamo Kiev, in the wake of speculation linking with a move away from Constant Vanden Stock Stadium.
Several Premier League clubs, including Hull, West Brom and Fulham were rumoured to be interested in signing the player, who netted 21 goals in all competitions last season. According to the recent reports, Hull saw their €8-million bid rejected by the Belgian club. However it looks like Mbokani is on the brink of joining the Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev, as the latter managed to match the €12million transfer fee demanded by Anderlecht.
The 27-year-old Congolese said: “I have not signed in Kiev, but can I do after my return from Congo. I hope Anderlecht and Kiev quickly find an agreement, because I really want to go to Kiev. It is an ambitious club that will play much Champions League football in the coming years.”
