Arsenal to fight for the fourth place till the bitter end

Daily Mail states Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is determined to fight up to the last ditch for the fourth place.

Wenger has warned their bitter rivals Spurs, who are currently lying in the fourth spot, four points ahead of fifth-placed Arsenal, with 13 games to go, that they will not give up Champions’ League without the fight. Tottenham have extended their remarkable unbeaten run to 10 games at the expense of Newcastle, but Wenger better than no one knows that everything can change quickly in the last part of the season. Last year Tottenham had a 10-point advantage over Arsenal, but The Gunners managed to come back from 10-point deficit to finish in the fourth place and progress for Champions’ League for the 15th time in a row, with Tottenham hopelessly slipping to a fifth spot due to the run of poor form.

Wenger said: “There are many games to go. We are in the fight and the game on Saturday showed that we are ready for a fight.”
