Arsenal Gervinho determined to stay at the club for one more season

Arsenal winger Gervinho ruled out possibility of leaving Emirates stadium this summer.

26-year-old Ivory Coast international joined the Gunners from Lille for 12 million Euros in 2011. After a bright start he turned into a fringe player for the club, due to his sheer inconsistency. He has been linked with a move to a Turkish side Fenerbache and his former club Lille, in the wake of rumours he is unhappy about the lack of first-team football.

However Gervinho claimed the ambition to regain his first-team place. He said: “I have a contract until 2015 with Arsenal and I intend to honour it. There is always speculation in the papers, but I am looking forward to a good holiday and to come back to Arsenal. I want to win my place in the starting line-up week in, week out.”
