Arsenal Gibbs out for three weeks

Arsenal Gibbs out for three weeks

Eurosport states Arsenal left-back Kieran Gibbs will be out for up to three weeks after suffering a setback of a thigh injury.

The 23-year-old defender limped off in the 41st minute of the clash against Liverpool. He will definitely miss Saturday’s game against Stoke City and Wednesday’s encounter with Sunderland and is a major doubt for the Champions’ League clash against Bayern Munich. “He was an important player for us going forward and the game we wanted to play. It’s a shame he’s out for the next three weeks,” said Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

Wenger added he will try to sign a replacement for Gibbs before the end of the transfer window.
