Balotelli agreed to pay £340,000 fine

Balotelli agreed to pay £340,000 fine

Daily Mail reports that Man City forward Mario Balotelli has decided not to appeal against the two-week wages fine imposed by Man City for the poor discipline.

At first Balotelli was determined to take Man City to an appeals tribunal over a £340k fine, levied for the picking up series of yellow and red cards. However he dropped the case at the eleventh hour and agreed to pay the fine.

Balotelli’s agent said revealed that the acceptance to pay the fine is a sign of Mario’s commitment to the club. “Mario is committed to City,” Mino Raiola said. “He doesn’t want to leave the club. He’s always wanted to stay and this case hasn’t changed this. He is committed in Manchester.”
