Barcelona Messi: playing alongside Bale and Rooney is my dream

Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi revealed he would welcome an opportunity of playing alongside Gareth Bale and Wayne Rooney, who he considers to be the best players on the planet.

It is to be recalled that Rooney has been dropped out of Manchester United first XI for the crucial Champions league last-16 second lag against Real Madrid, which has fuelled the speculation that player is on the verge of leaving the club in summer. Gareth Bale is one of the most wanted players on the continent after he has scored 24 goals for his club and national team, closing to the goal-scoring record of Ronaldo and Messi.

Messi admitted he would relish the prospect of playing in the same team with both players. “Wayne Rooney and Gareth Bale are both great players, they are doing so well for their clubs. And I always want to play with the best players. I have to be careful what I say because I can’t see them leaving their teams soon. But, of course, I want to play with the best players.”
