BATE Borisov claimed the Belarusian title for the 9th time

BATE Borisov claimed the Belarusian title with two matches to play and opened the road to another Champions League campaign next autumn.

In yesterday’s game against FC Minsk BATE administered a devastating defeat. Bressan and Rodionov braces along with Rakhmanov’s own goal gave BATE a comfortable advantage over 10-man capital club, 5-1.

It’s the ninth title for the club from Borisov and sixth straight.

Shakhtyor Soligorsk sealed a runner-up place.

Dinamo and Gomel both have chances to get the bronze.
