Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga title

Bayern Munich secured the second straight Bundesliga title with seven games to go in the championship.

Bayern beat Hertha in Berlin and extended their unbeatem run in Bundesliga to 52 matches. Kroos, Gotze and Ribery powered the Bavarian giants to a 3-1 victory that saw them clinch the 23rd German title with Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04 trailing 25 and 26 points behind the leaders respectively. Pep Guardiola was satisfied with the achievement in his first season in charge:
“I am satisfied that we did it. A game earlier or later does not matter. Congratulations to everyone at the club.”
