Belhanda snubs Arsenal, joins Dynamo Kiev

Dynamo Kiev have completed the signing of highly-rated midfielder Younes Belhanda from Montpellier.

With the details of the deal yet to be published on an official website of the Ukrainian side, the 23-year-old Morocco International has been announced to wear shirt number 90, marking a year of his birth.

Belhanda made 38 outings, scoring 13 goals last season. He was an integral part of the side that claimed Ligue 1 title in 2011-12 season.

According to the latest transfer rumours, interest in Belhanda was high, with the host of European clubs, including Arsenal and Aston Villa battling for his signature. Earlier this week president Louis Nicollin revealed via Twitter Montpellier accepted two bids. Arsenal and Dynamo Kiev were believed to be two clubs to make a respectable transfer offer, however the Ukrainian side managed to steal the highly-rated player from under Gunners noses by offering a lucrative contract.
