Blackburn Murphy set to quit club for Fulham coaching role

Blackburn midfielder Danny Murphy is on the verge of leaving his current club to join Fulham for a backroom job.

The 35-year-old has joined Blackburn on a lucrative contract in summer. However currently he is seriously considering the possibility of terminating the contract with his club, after he was stripped of captaincy and was instructed to train with reserves.

Fulham have been closely monitoring the situation with their former player and are prepared to offer him a backroom job with limited coaching duties and promotional work. Murphy himself is believed to be keen on return to London, as he has recently moved into a new house at capital.
