Blackpool manager Paul Ince to make a tough decision on son Tom Ince’s future

Blackpool boss Paul Ince revealed he is set to make a difficult decision on the future of his son highly-rated youngster Tom Ince, as he hopes to retain the best players at the club.

The current deal of the talented winger is due to expire in a 12-month time and Blackpool have an option of extending his contract for another year. However the interest in Tom Ince is high, with several Premier League clubs, including Liverpool and Tottenham, are said to be weighting up the possibility of signing the player. And Tom Ince is torn between the desire to allow his son playing at the highest level and the necessity to hold onto his services as he is an integral part of the team.

Paul Ince hopes the situation could be solved in the most favourable way all the parties involved. He said: “It’s a hard one. You want to go forward and keep your best players. At the same time, as a father, you have to understand he has the ability to play in the Premier League. It is about timing. We’ll sit down at the end of the season and decide where to go. He has a year left and a year option on the club’s behalf, so it’s a tricky one.”
