Boateng considers moving away from Italy after racial abuse

According to Daily Mail AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is seriously considering an option of moving away from Italy after the racial attack which left him no choice but walking off the pitch.

The incident occurred during the friendly match between Milan and local side Pro Patria. After the fans began making monkey chants in the 26th minute of the game the Ghana international informed the referee about the racial abuse and then decided to leave the pitch. His teammates have joined the boycott. The Italian Football Association has backed the players and announced that it will launch an investigation.

Boateng revealed that he is seriously considering his future in Italian football. “[…] I will sit down with my agent Roger Wittmann next week. We will have to see if it’s really worth carrying on playing in Italy,’ he said.
