Bundesliga fixtures preview: It is trophytime!
Munich powerhouse should clinch only two points till the rest of the season to take the crown of the 50th edition of the Bundesliga, but Bayern will definitely hunt for three in the game in Frankfurt.
Yet again comes the moment when we repeat that the likelihood of Bayern wrapping up the title this weekend is pretty high. Borussia Dortmund may still postpone celebrations if they win the clash against Augsburg, yet the top standing team will still chase the treble this season, shattering all types of Bundesliga records on their way.
No other team has ever won the title with six matches to play and a victory would see them clinching their 23rd title. Some records the side have broken this term are even more impressive as they went on 10-match winning streak and became the earliest autumn champion in the 50-year history of the tournament.
The major trouble for Jupp Heynckes is little rest the squad received after the winning match against Juve. The head coach is likely to rest some of the first team players, though the 9-2 humiliation of Hamburg last weekend with experimental squad should have taught us that this Bayern is as well-build as one can only imagine.
