Capital One Cup fixtures. Last eight.

Tottenham Hotspur host West Ham United in a Capital One Cup quarter-final just two days after their manager Andre Villas-Boas had been released from the club.

Former first team coach Tim Sherwood will be in charge of the squad while the board is looking for a new permanent manager. Fabio Capello, Michael Laudrup, Guus Hiddink and Glenn Hoddle are among the favourites to fill in the vacancy. Sam Allardyce is desperate to get a boost in attack as The Hammers only netted once in the last three matches, including a stalemate against bottom-placed Sunderland.

Chelsea are set for Tuesday visit to The Black Cats after a narrow win over Crystal Palace in Premier League. Gus Poyet claimed his players need a win in any competition to get back on track in their bid to survive in the top flight and will do their best to make it past big-shot London side.

After a historic 6-3 victory over main rivals Arsenal, Manuel Pellegrini pays a visit to Leicester City who are fighting for promotion to the Premier League and currently lie third in the table behind QPR and Burnley. After a brilliant run in all competitions Manchester City got a setback in being drawn against Barcelona for the last 16 round of UEFA Champions League. They also lost their best striker Sergio Aguero for 4-6 weeks through calf injury.

David Moyes makes a short trip to Stoke to build on two victories in Champions League and Premier League. However, The Red Devils are yet to prove they are title contenders this term.
