Capital One Cup results

Reading and Arsenal fans watched a real thriller on Tuesday night when the Gunners showed a lousy performance in the first half and by the 37th minute were four goals down when Jason Roberts, Mikele Leigertwood and Noel Hun found the target. But in the second half the Londoners produced an unbelievable comeback equalizing the score at the last minute of the injury time. In extra-time Arsenal grabbed a victory when Reading scored just once and Walcott and Chamakh ensured the Gunners progress further. Reading has become the first ever side in the League Cup or FA Cup that scored five times yet lost the match.

Results of the Capital One Cup - fourth round:

Leeds United 3-0 Southampton
Reading 5-7 Arsenal
Sunderland 0-1 Middlesbrough
Swindon 2-3 Aston Villa
Wigan 0-0 Bradford
