Cavani hints at possible La Liga move

The player gave a cue on possible transfer to Spain claiming that Real Madrid and Barcelona are the teams “which stimulate the imagination.”

Napoli prolific striker Edinson Cavani was linked with a number of English clubs including Arsenal and Manchester City , yet the fee of 63 million euros kept the clubs from purchasing the player.

The forward himself insists that he is satisfied with his current team, underlining that he is happy at Napoli.”I’m currently living the highest point of my career with Napoli and I want to focus on fighting for the scudetto. Along with my team-mates, we want to give a dream for our fans,” states the player.

The Uruguayan underlines that he is not aware of any interest from Arsenal.”My future? I have a running contract for four years but in football you never know what to expect, ” claims the Uruguayan.

Yet the striker mentions that among other options the Spanish powerhouses Real Madrid and Barcelona are two most attractive options for him.

“Barcelona and Real Madrid are sides which stimulate my imagination,” says Cavani.
