Celtic claim 44th Scottish title

Celtic thrashed Inverness 4-1 to clinch their 44th Scottish title.

The Bhoys entered the game against Inverness knowing that a point would be enough to guarantee them Scottish title, as they were topping the table 12 points ahead of the closest rivals with 4 games to go. And yet the Scottish giants provided an excellent second-half display with Gary Hooper scoring the brace, Joe Ledley and Samaras also adding their names to the score sheet to record Celtic’s dominant 4-1 victory that deservedly earned them 44th title.

Now the Bhoys can concentrate on the preparation to the forthcoming William Hill Scottish Cup final against Hibernian next month in their pursuit of domestic double.
