Chelsea favourites to sign Partizan Belgrade wonderkid

Chelsea are in the driving seat to land wonderkid Lazar Markovic from Partizan Belgrade.

The Serbian starlet, who has made his international debut at the age of just 17, is chased by host of top European clubs. New Blues boss Jose Mourinho is well aware of Markovic’s potential considering him one of the hottest prospect in Europe and is keen to lure him to Stamford Bridge.

Markovic himself has recently admitted he relishes the prospect to play at a Premier League club and will jump at the chance to sign for Chelsea, should the respectable offer be made. He said: “A lot of people say that maybe I’m not suited to the English league. But I can tell you that I love the Premier League and I see it as an ideal stage for me.”
