Chelsea midfielder Kevin de Bruyne is on loan to Werder

The German club has been monitoring the player for a couple of seasons and finally completed the deal with the Belgian international.

Werder manager Thomas Schaaf was satisfied de Bruyne had joined his team. He stated the player would enhance the game of the club as: ‘he has proven himself many times in the last few seasons.’

De Bruyne himself was delighted with the transfer, stating that his new club had a long and great history and currently competed in one of the top European leagues. The winger added: ‘I am looking forward to start playing football in this side and to be successful with my team-mates’.
