Chelsea's Jeffrey Bruma eyes PSV move

Chelsea's Jeffrey Bruma eyes PSV move

Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma, who has spent two years on loan at Hamburg, is hoping to join PSV Eindhoven.

The 21-year-old Dutchman has reportedly become disillusioned with his life at Chelsea and sees his future out of Stamford Bridge. The youngster joined the Blues back in 2007, but he has not yet made a breakthrough into the first team. He has been loaned out to German side Hamburg, where he spent two seasons.

The Bundesliga side refused to make deal permanent, as they could not afford his transfer fee. However there are a lot of admirers of his talent across Europe and it looks like the offer from PSV could be for Bruma too tempting to refuse.

Bruma has one year left at his deal with Chelsea, but he hopes he could leave Stamford Bridge as soon as possible.

He said: “Yes I want to join PSV. This week we will open the negotiations. First PSV had to talk with Chelsea, after that it’s my turn.”
