Crystal Palace Glenn Murray signed new deal
Crystal Palace prolific striker Glenn Murray has put an end to transfer speculations linking him with a move away from Selhurst Park by signing a new long-term deal.
The 29-year-old hitman has made a switch to Selhurst Park from Brighton on a free transfer and has quickly established himself as an important first team player. He was instrumental in Palace’s successes this season, leading Championship goal scoring charts with 29 goals. His prolificacy has drawn attention of several Premier League clubs, including Norwich, Fulham and Aston Villa, with the Cottagers being considered the favourites to land him in summer.
However Murray has put a pen to paper to a three-year contract that will keep him at Crystal Palace until 2017.
