Crystal Palace target Charlie Adam

Crystal Palace target Charlie Adam

Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway is weighting up an option of landing old boy Charlie Adam, should the Eagles win promotion to the Premier League.

Holloway wants to offer Adam an escape route from his nightmare at Stoke City, where he has fell out of favour with manager Tony Pulis, since arrival from Liverpool.

Pulis considers Adam to be a surplus to requirements and will gladly part ways with the midfielder if Palace make the formal offer. Holloway tried to take midfielder on loan, however the sides have failed to agree over the fee.

Adam himself is believed to be keen on leaving the Britannia, as his lack of first-team action threatens his place in Scotland national team.
