Defoe injury worry for Tottenham

According to Daily Mirror Tottenham striker Jermaine Defoe will be out for about month due to the pelvic injury.

Defoe has been experiencing discomfort in recent several games which resulted in his poor performances. He scored only one goal in last eight games. This is particularly noticeable taking into account the outstanding start of the season. Defoe has been dropped from the squad by the Spurs boss Andre Villas Boas for a clash against Leeds because of the fears that he will need to undergo a surgery.

Andre Villas Boas is desperately trying to sign a new striker in a hope to complete the deal before the transfer window closes as he clearly lacks cover in an attacking area.
