Diarra left West Ham for Rennes
Daily Mail informs that the Hummers’ midfielder Alou Diarra has made a switch to Rennes on loan until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old France international joined West Ham from Marseille on a free transfer in 2012. However he failed to become a regular first-team player and accused West Ham officials of ‘lying’ to him about his role at the club while trying to lure him to London. Also he said he in unhappy about the way he is treated by the Hummers boss Sam Allardyce.
“I am positively at breaking point. At all the clubs where I’ve been, I’ve always had a discussion with the coach, so I know what he expected of me, how the team plays, my positioning. But since my arrival at West Ham I never spoke with the manager. Every day is “Hello, goodbye”. There is no dialogue, no explanation,” – revealed the player.
Diarra has made just one Premier League start this season after recovering from a thigh injury.
