England training session before the friendly against Italy

England manager Roy Hodgson starts building a new squad for the qualification campaign and World Cup 2016, leaving out for the friendly game against Italy Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney. The coach has chosen only three players from the Euro 2012 list and introduced 8 players from the team GB that participated in the Olympics.

The teams will meet just 52 days after the quarter-final game in Kiev, where Italy defeated England in a penalty shoot-out.
