Europa League preview: Fenerbahçe vs Benfica

Europa League preview: Fenerbahçe vs Benfica

With Europa League reaching its final stages, the Fenerbahçe will be hoping to progress to their first-ever final with the Portuguese giants undoubtedly delivering a bitter fight.

It is quite difficult to predict the winner in this semi-final as both teams are packed with quality players and have eliminated several strong sides on the road to semi-final. While Benfica knocked Newcastle out in the quarter-final, the Turkish outfit managed to outplay Lazio.

Fenerbahçe team news:

Fenerbahce manager Aykut Kocaman has not serious injury ahead of the forthcoming semi-final and is expected to stick to the side that suffered a 2-0 defeat against Gençlerbirligi last week-end.

Kuyt and Webowill will partner in the attack, while Sow and Ucan set to be benched.

Benfica team news:

Benfica have been boosted with the news Ezequiel Garay is ready to return in the first XI after recovering from the minor injury he suffered in 2-0 win over Sporting. Oscar Cardozo is expected to start up front.
