European weekend: Italy highlights

Lazio 3-2 Roma

The first Derby della Capitale of the season produced a thrilling match with Lazio securing a victory. Roma took the lead through Lamela’s effort on the 9th minute. Lazio hit back with 3 goals. Candreva and Klose turned the match in the first half. Mauri added his goal minutes after the break. Pjanić goal all but saved the intrigue. Lazio claims the Derby.

Milan 1-3 Fiorentina

Looks like a comfortable win over Chievo was just a setpiece. Fiorentina proved to be too strong for San Siro hosts as Aquilani and Borja Valero put the guests ahead in the first half. Pazzini reduced the score, but Mounir El Hamdaoui restored comfortable lead three minutes from time. Allegri on the brink of dismissal as Milan falls deeper to 13th position.

Pescara 1-6 Juventus

Juventus produced champion display thrashing Pescara 6-1. Quagliarella made his first career hat-trick. Vidal, Asamoah and Giovinco also contributed to humiliating the rookies.

Juve is very consistent. This is the key. Inter did phantastic beating them but you can't win the championship winning against Juve and loosing to Atalanta...
