Evans signed new Man Utd contract

24 year-old Man Utd defender Jonny Evans has committed his future to the club by signing new two-year contract.

Previous Evans’ deal was due to expire in 2014. The club has decided to hold onto their talented player and offered him an improved two year-deal of around £60,000 per week.

Evans has joined to Man Utd in 2004 and came up through the ranks of the Red Devils to become an important first team player for his club. He has made more than 100 first-team starts for his club and won 31 caps for Northern Ireland.

Evans revealed that he is happy to play for United and would like to end his career with the club.
