Everton Jagielka set to stay at the club notwithstanding Moyes’ exit
Everton defender Phil Jagielka revealed he stays committed to a club, notwithstanding departure of long-serving manager David Moyes.
The Scot’s 11-year management of the club came to an end earlier this week, when he replaced Sir Alex Ferguson in charge of Manchester United. The speculation suggested the Toffees’ stars will follow the path of Moyes, but Jagielka said he will remain at the club.
When asked if he still saw his future at the Goodison Park, the defender replied: “Yes, definitely. I was made captain for next season when David Moyes was in charge. We will have to wait and see what happens with the new manager, but hopefully he will keep me in that role and it is something that I am looking forward to doing.”
