Everton boss David Moyes considered a favorite to take over Manchester United after Sir Alex Ferguson.

United have announced Sir Alex Ferguson is set to step down as manager at the end of the season after 27 years in charge of the Red Devils.
Moyes has long been considered as a best candidate to succeed the most successful English manager, and it is expected that he will be unveiled as next United manager in near future. The current deal of Everton’s manager is set to expire at the end of the season and no new deal has been agreed as of yet. Moyes has reiterated he wants to wait until the end of the campaign before making decision on his future.

Moyes has earned himself reputation for securing respectable Premier League results with relatively poor club. He is considered by United board as a man who can retain stability of the newly crowned Premier League champions and values youth development.
