Everton set to swoop for Sevilla Negredo after Fer move collapsed

According to Daily Mail Everton have switched their attention to Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo after Leroy Fer move from Twente broke down due to the injury concerns.

Everton have agreed terms for January transfer of Twente midfielder Leroy Fer and the Dutchman was widely expected to sign for the Toffees after passing his medical. However the deal fell through after medical tests showed up a knee problem. The 23-year-old midfielder has undergone surgical treatment of the meniscus problem several months ago.

Everton manager David Moyes is believed to make the last-ditch move for Sevilla and Spain forward Alvaro Negredo who has been recently linked with moves to Tottenham and Arsenal. La Liga side is currently experiencing financial troubles and may be ready to part ways with their forward for around £9 million.
