'Fabregas wanted', claims Moyes

Manchester United have reportedely raised their bid for the Spanish playmaker Cesc Fàbregas to £30m.

David Moyes has claimed that executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward works hard on completing the deal in an attempt to bring a key midfielder to Old Trafford. Barcelona are still adamant Cesc is staying in the Catalan club, however, moving to a club where he could play a key role would benefit the player’s mission to get to 2014 Brazil World Cup. The Spaniard, who has made 83 appearances for the national squad, would most likely be struggling for a place in the starting 11 at Camp Nou in the upcoming season with Lionel Messi and Neymar favorites to cover the attacking midfield. Besides, United bosses promise him a significant wage increase.

Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger has also ruled out the chance of Cesc joining the Red Devils due to his passion for the Gunners.

United now start to resemble Arsenal, with nobody eager to join the outfit and some of the top players having no loyalty to the club.
