Final is the aim says Stramaccioni

Roma and Inter clash in the first round of the Coppa Italia, facing each other for the second time in just four days.

The previous Serie A fixture on Sunday ended in a 1-1 draw. Inter manager Andrea Stramaccioni claimed before the Cup match that the Narazzurri intend to put the strongest squad, striving to reach the final.

“I reckon that we will see a Roma that is very similar to the one we saw in the national championship. We showed on Sunday that we can do pretty well against them,” stated the manager.

Inter will miss Walter Samuel, Dejan Stankovic and Antonio Cassano for the game who are all injured, while Roma fans will not see Daniele De Rossi, Federico Balzaretti, Rodrigo Taddei and Miralem Pjanic.
