Real Madrid have improved their poor start this season beating Mallorca 0-5 at Iberostar Estadi and stay eight points behind the leaders. Such a crucial win occurred due to two goals from Gonzalo Higuaín, two from Cristiano Ronaldo and Callejón ended up with an injury-time goal.

Tito Villanova’s side continue their brilliant start to La Liga season with fifth consecutive win at the expense of Rayo Vallecano. David Villa opened the score on the 20th minute three goals, Lionel Messi added a second early in the second half and three goals from Xavi, Fabregas, Messi within 10 minutes in the second half from Xavi, Fabregas, Messi made it 5-0. Napoli are snapping at the leader’s heels staying 3 points behind after 1-0 win at Chievo via Marek Hamsik’s goal.

Internazionale is placed third in Serie A as they won 3-1 Bologna in rainy conditions. Two goals scored by Andrea Ranocchia and Diego Milito found a response from Bologna’s Nicolo Cherubin but Esteban Cambiasso added Inter a third.
