Fulham Dejagah out until the end of the season

Fulham midfielder Ashkan Dejagah is set to miss the rest of the season after sustaining aknle ligament injury.

Dejagah limped off during Fulham’s 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers after colliding with an advertising hoarding. Fulham boss Martin Jol confirmed the player is set to undergo surgery and will be not available for selection for the rest of Premier League fixtures. Jol said: “Ashkan Dejagah needs an operation on his ankle ligament. That will be next week and I think he will be out for the rest of the season.”

The 26-year-old Iranian has joined the Cottagers from Wolfsburg for €2.5 million in 2012. HE has made 28 appearances in all competitions setting up 7 goals.
