Galatasaray set to make switch for Man Utd Ferdinand
Turkish giants Galatasaray are continuing their ambitious attempts of luring some of the best football players to Türk Telekom Arena.
After having secured the services of Wesley Sneijder and Didier Drogba, they are determined to try and make a switch for Manchester United veteran defender Rio Ferdinand, amid his contract uncertainty.
His current deal is set to expire in summer and Man Utd have not offered him a new contract as of yet. However it remains to be seen whether Sir Alex Ferguson is inclined to part ways with the influential center-back. Despite the fact that he is not getting any younger he is still playing an important role for Manchester United.
Ferdinand has made 20 Premier League appearances this season.
