Hamburg prepared to part ways with Son Heung-min

Hamburg sporting director Frank Arnesen hinted at possible departure of their star player Son Heung-min, amid the news the player is reluctant to sign a new deal with the German side.

The 20-year-old South Korean is among most wanted players in Europe, with host of Premier League clubs including Arsenal and Tottenham also said to be interested in securing the services of the starlet.

Son’s current deal is set to expire next season. The contract negotiations have not been successful as the player expressed the desire to move to a bugger club if he is to further his career. If Son does not change his decision, Arnesen is prepared to listen to reasonable offers for the player.

He said: “Heung-min Son is under contract with our club and we are talking to him about signing a new contract. Obviously we will have to sell him, if he does not sign a new deal with our club!”
