Holtby convinced Spurs will reach top four

Tottenham midfielder Lewis Holtby is assured his side can live up its fans’ expectations of reaching Champions League qualification this season, despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Everton on Sunday.

Gylfi Sigurdsson has scored late equalizer to save the point for Tottenham in their latest Premier League game against Everton at White Hart Lane. The result saw North London club dropping to a fourth spot, just two points ahead of Arsenal with the Gunners having a game in hand. The German urges his teammates to avoid complacency in their forthcoming games to guarantee the job is done.

He said: “At the end of the day, if we want to play in the Champions League we want to win games like these. But we’ve still got decisive games against City at home and against Chelsea away, which are going to be big games. The games against Southampton and Sunderland are also ones we have to win to get those points to stay up there in the top four. I’m confident that we can do it because we have a lot of quality in our side.”
