Jack Rodwell joins Manchester City

Everton midfielder penned a four-year deal with the Citizens.

After undergoing the medical, Rodwell gave an interview where he said he was very proud to be signed by the champions and praised the opportunity to play with one of best players in the world.

The midfielder underlined he was looking forward to cooperate with Mancini and play in front of the City supporters. The player was confident: ‘It will be a wonderful experience to make my debut in front of that crowd’. Yet Rodwell realized he had a lot of hard work to do in order to develop.

The England international expressed his gratitude to his former club Everton, including players, coaching staff, he also thanked ‘all the fans who have been amazing during my stay at Everton. I have enjoyed every single minute of my time there and I wish every member at the club the best of luck for the new season and beyond.’
