Jurgen Klopp confident Borussia outplay Real Madrid

Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp revealed he is confident his side delivers their best performance to see off the challenge of Real Madrid in Champions League semi-final second leg.

The German giants secured an impressive 4-1 win over La Liga side at Westfalenstadion last week, with Robert Lewandowski scoring all four goals. Klopp stated his team is able to cope with the pressure, which can be proved by their 5-2 demolition of Bayern Munich in the last year’s German Cup final, when Lewandowski netted a hat-trick.

He said: “For us it’s the same situation as last year’s German Cup final. We were the German champions and Bayern Munich wanted to beat us in this game, change their whole season. They gave their all and my team was pretty cool in this moment because the only way to reach your dream is to be brave.

“And that’s what we tried to do. It’s no problem to lose the game because it could happen. It’s only interesting what you invest in the game. My players cannot fail as they will give their best, there is no doubt about this,” he added.
