Juventus Marchisio ‘proud’ to be linked with Man Utd

Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio admitted the recent speculation, linking him with a move to Manchester United, is something he can be proud of.

New Man Utd boss David Moyes is rumoured to be a long-term admirer of the 27-year-old Italian and could be willing to lure him to the Old Trafford. Free-spending Monaco are also said to be closely monitoring situation with the player. And yet, both clubs are yet to make an official approach.

Marchisio himself has also admitted he is unsure where he will be next season, although he is flattered with the prospect of playing for the Premier League champions. He said: “There are things to be proud of, but I am not sure if they are true. I have not heard from anyone at Manchester United or Monaco. When I talk with my club everything will become clearer.”
